Learning and Development Manager needed for Durban office

We have a permanent position available for a Learning and Development Manager for our Durban office based in Westville.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience as a Learning and Development Practitioner and 2 years experience in a L&D management role
  • Qualified Assessor and Moderator are recommended and will definitely be an advantage
  • Participative leadership style
  • Very strong on customer service
  • Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Excellent problem-solver and act as change champion
  • Basic knowledge of B-BBEE strongly advised
  • Excellent communicator (verbal as well as written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Own transport
  • Salary R30 000 depending on qualification and experience

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Drive all learning and development processes to ensure a quality service to clients
  • Regular meetings with clients to ensure continuous improvement
  • Create and drive a learning culture
  • Ensure that clients have a highly productive and engaged work force through regular consultations with managers from various divisions
  • Adhere to accurate and effective management of monthly budget
  • Adhere to all relevant and required legislation and government policies
  • Control all administrative work pertaining to learning and development
